Directorpoint Celebrates the Launch of a European Data Center

Big news from the Directorpoint team! This summer has seen our company reach several milestones.

New Directorpoint European Data Center

Directorpoint is thrilled to announce the opening of an official headquarters and data center in the UK. As our number of European clients has grown, we have actively pursued ways to improve their product experience.

The establishment of the data center, in particular, will allow clients in the European Union to experience significantly faster download and upload speeds while using our software. The Directorpoint team sees this European expansion as the next step for extending its international reach.

The first question dealt with the risk that a business may be growing too quickly. Mr. Peinhardt quipped: “If your business is growing too fast, rule number one is raise your prices.”

Directorpoint CTO Recognized As Outstanding Tech Innovator

We’re proud to announce that our very own Chief Technology Officer, Trey McMeans, was recently named a “Rising Star of Tech and Innovation” by the Birmingham Business Journal.

The BBJ points out that the awardees are individuals who are expected to “lead the charge…in taking Birmingham’s innovation economy to the next level.”

Prior to joining Directorpoint, McMeans was the CEO and founder of a SaaS company called GreekStudy.

The GPS-enabled, academic hours-tracking application acquired over 1,000 clients across the country and experienced exceptional success under his leadership and guidance. In 2016, McMeans sold the company in order to focus on full-time leadership as the Directorpoint CTO.

Directorpoint Ranked in BBJ’s Fast Track 30 for Second Year in a RowYesterday, our company had the pleasure of attending the Birmingham Business Journal’s Fast Track 30 awards ceremony—a breakfast event at the Harbert Center in downtown Birmingham that honored the 30 fastest growing companies in the metro area.

Directorpoint was honored for posting 82.12% revenue growth from 2014 to 2015. Last year, Directorpoint was recognized as the second fastest growing company in the city. John Peinhardt, our Founder and President shares, “We are so proud to receive this honor once again and will continue to pursue rapid growth through careful planning supported by consistently great service.”
